CORE Organic II aims at an effective and sustainable transnational research programme. It will identify common research priorities for the organic sector where a transnational approach will give added value, launch at least two transnational calls, initiate research projects, organize project monitoring and dissemination of results, and consider funding models.
CORE Organic runs under the ERA-NET scheme, where national and regional authorities identify research programmes they wish to coordinate or open up mutually. The participants in CORE Organic II are therefore programme 'owners' (typically ministries or regional authorities defining research programmes) or programme 'managers' (such as research councils or other research funding agencies managing research programmes).
