Today is World Soil Day

Soils provide many different ecosystem services for us. That is why we honour this valuable resource on World Soil Day on 5 December. A wide range of current research projects on the topic of soil are being conducted at FiBL.

Soils bind carbon, regulate the water regime, provide a habitat for numerous organisms and form the basis of our diet. For this reason, FiBL is conducting research in various projects on how soil as a resource can be used sustainably in agriculture.
