FiBL Europe leads the dialogue of its members with the European institutions and other European stakeholders. Based on its position as a neutral research institution, FiBL is committed to science-based policy frameworks in the field of food and agriculture. To this end, FiBL Europe brings together policy makers and stakeholders, supporting fact-driven decision-making in multiple policy areas, such as organic farming, the Common Agricultural Policy, international cooperation, and international trade policies.

Coordination of the European Input List

FiBL Europe coordinates the European Input List (EIL) an easily accessible online tool, providing information on commercial inputs (plant protection products, fertilizers etc.) that comply with the rules for organic production. The list is drawn up on the basis of an in-depth product evaluation by a team of input experts. For further information on the European Input List and the six associated national Input Lists (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Croatia and Italy), please visit the project website www.inputs.eu.
