FiBL maintains large networks of livestock farms, where trials under practical conditions can be carried out – e.g., to test new feed additives or veterinary drugs. Trained FiBL staff and experienced farmers provide excellent support and ensure that the trials are carried out reliably. Diagnostics are carried out either in the FiBL laboratory (parasitology) in established cooperations with specialised external laboratories or by the sponsors of a study.
