FiBL Switzerland works on a wide range of topics relating to organic agriculture and related disciplines. Interdisciplinary research across departments and national borders plays a major role in this. FiBL's interdisciplinary theme coordinators ensure that strategic cooperation and joint progress are made on megatopics, such as agroforestry and the microbiome.
The coordinators initiate research, development and advisory projects, organize interdisciplinary workshops and contribute to advancing the topics through active knowledge exchange and national and international networking.
