By S-Bahn (urban light rail)
From direction Hauptbahnhof (central station)/ Innenstadt (downtown) take lines S3 (Bad Soden), S4 (Kronberg), S5 (Bad Homburg) and S6 (Friedberg) – heading for "Messe" (fair).
Get off at Frankfurt West station (three stations from the main station). Leave the station through the exit in the direction of Kasseler Straße.
Turn left and walk along the S-Bahn track to the Ökohaus. FiBL is on the 4th floor (east).
By car
If your navigation system lets you down: Our offices are located in the Ökohaus in the district "Bockenheim", near the "Westbahnhof". Kasseler Straße starts directly at Westbahnhof and runs parallel to the tracks (Dead-end street).
By plane
From Frankfurt Airport, the S-Bahn runs every 10 to 20 minutes to the main station (travel time approx. 20 minutes). Continue with the S-Bahn (see above).
Tips
For rail passengers
Holders of a Bahncard whose train journey to Frankfurt exceeds 100 km receive a Cityticket when purchasing their ticket. This city ticket can be used to travel by public transport from the central train station to your destination in Frankfurt (except the airport) and thus also to "Frankfurt (Main) West". If you do not have a city ticket for Frankfurt, you will have to choose the "Single trip Frankfurt" at a local public transport (RMV) machine.
Alternatively, when purchasing a train ticket, it is recommended to specify "Frankfurt (Main) West" as your destination. This eliminates the need to purchase an additional ticket for local public transport (RMV).
For car drivers
Since there are only limited parking possibilities in the surrounding area, you should plan a little more time for your search of a parking spot. The parking lots in front of the Ökohaus belong to the DB and are charged.
