Creating equal opportunities for all people at FiBL is integral to the values of FiBL Switzerland. Promoting equality is therefore an vital part of the Institute's development.
The Equal Opportunities Officers work to ensure that equal opportunities are achieved for all members of staff at FiBL Switzerland. For this purpose, they develop concepts for promoting gender equality at FiBL, help to organize further training courses and inform the team on issues relevant to gender equality. They take a stand on issues relating to gender equality, work-life balance and diversity at FiBL. They plan and support measures to achieve equality at the institute. Furthermore, the Equal Opportunities Officers accompany the hiring process for management positions and contribute to the external salary analysis and annual Equal Opportunities Report undertaken by the Board of Directors at FiBL Switzerland.
The Equal Opportunities Officers are elected by the FiBL staff for a three-year term of office and are the contact persons for FiBL Switzerland employees on all matters relating to equal opportunities.
