Interest in local and organic products has increased over a longer period of time. Due to the growing demand, various types of selling and marketing such products have emerged. In a recent study with FiBL contribution, researchers have studied how box subscriptions on organic food, so-called box schemes, work in different European countries and what differences and similarities exist between small and large players. The results were published in the scientific journal Sustainability.
