Courses for specialist practitioner

Abstract

Specialist practitioner courses provide further training for practising farmers and specialist advisors on key topics such as soil fertility, cattle or pig farming, fruit or vegetable growing. Different formats are used to address the specific issues in each case. The programme does not provide patent remedies, but rather a holistic understanding of the subject matter that enables participants to independently develop strategies to use resources more efficiently and sparingly, improve animal welfare and equip farms for the future in the aforementioned sense.
