The workshops are organized in three parts, each focusing on a different topic.
- The Roots of Agriculture: A series of Stakeholder Events on below-ground research from the SolACE project
- Too Deep or Not Too Deep: Deep-rooting – 20 January
- To Dig or Not To Dig: Root phenotyping for breeding – 10 February
- To deal or Not to deal: Root and plant Microbiome interactions – 3 March
- Upscaling Knowledge from Experiments to the Farm: How are bio-stimulants employed in controlled and un-controlled environments – 7 February
- Future Proofing in a Changing Climate: Modelling Farming Scenarios in Europe to Aid Decision-Making – 1 March
These events will feed into the final SolACE conference, Improving Agroecosystem and Crop Efficiency for Water and Nutrient Use: Lessons Learned and Future Implications from a Horizon 2020 Project. The conference will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 12 April 2022 and will highlight policy and future research implications of the project.
