Science-policy event "Agroecological Transition of Food Systems in Africa"

On 6 May 2025, FiBL is organising a science-policy event, where a cluster of nine EU projects will exchange on the topic of an "Agroecological Transition of Food Systems in Africa". The day-long event will feature insights from nine EU-Africa collaborative projects. Registration is open now.

The consortium cordially invites everyone to attend its collaborative science-policy event on "Agroecological Transition of Food Systems in Africa" on 6 May 2025 at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels, Belgium. It is also possible to attend the event via live streaming.

The event will share insights from nine EU-Africa collaborative projects – including three large FiBL-led projects SustainSahel, SysCom and Crops4HD – on state-of-the-art scientific evidence on agroecological approaches for improved resilience of African smallholder farmers with policy and other stakeholders in Brussels. The projects are funded by Horizon 2020, DeSIRA and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
