The OrganicAdviceNetwork project has published its first newsletter and is inviting advisors from all over Europe to take part in various participatory activities from 2025 onwards. FiBL Switzerland and FiBL Germany are in charge for the development of e-learning modules and of the project's thematic network “fruit production”.

The aim of OrganicAdviceNetwork is to establish a European organic advisory network with the focus on international knowledge exchange and the promotion of organic advisory structures in Europe. The project has now published its first newsletter in co-operation with another European advisory network, AdvisoryNetPest. This is the beginning of a series of collaborations aimed at connecting advisors across Europe and building an international network on two important topics: Organic farming and sustainable fertiliser management.

Activities in the new year

From 2025 onwards, both projects will start with a series of network activities. OrganicAdviceNetwork will organize a series of international excursions on key topics in organic farming, host a competition on innovative advisory systems and develop a digital exchange and learning platform. Interested parties can find out more about these activities on the OrganicAdviceNetwork website and register for the newsletter. The first issue of the newsletter is linked below.

The OrganicAdviceNetwork project is funded by the EU Commission and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI.

The Organic Farm Knowledge platform is crucial for the EU project OrganicAdviceNetwork because it serves as a central knowledge hub for organic farming. It provides practical materials and tools to support advisors and farmers in promoting more sustainable and equitable agricultural practices across Europe.
