As part of the Horizon Europe OrganicAdviceNetwork project, FiBL has developed an exchange and learning platform for organic farming advice. It offers cross visits for international expert exchange and will later include a range of e-learning formats. The platform OrganicAdviceNetwork.space offers organic advisors and interested parties from all over Europe the opportunity to network, learn from each other, further educate themselves and learn about innovative practices in organic farming. A webinar at the end of April will present the project and the platform in more detail.

The new online platform, called OrganicAdviceNetwork.space, opens its doors to experienced and new organic advisors from across Europe, as well as anyone who works or wants to work in organic advisory services. By registering, participants will have access to a variety of exchange and learning opportunities that are specifically tailored to their needs.

What can you expect from the platform?

This year, 15 cross-visits are taking place as part of the OrganicAdviceNetwork project. The cross visits each focus on one of five agricultural sectors, always focusing on organic farming: arable farming, vegetable growing, fruit growing and viticulture, as well as cattle and small ruminants. These two- to three-day events offer advisors the unique opportunity to learn about innovative organic farming practices and exchange ideas with colleagues from across Europe.

Registration for the upcoming cross visits is already open. The programmes of the cross visits can be viewed without registering on the OrganicAdviceNetwork.space platform. After successfully confirming participation, participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other cross visit participants online.

Furthermore, an online basic course on organic farming will start on OrganicAdviceNetwork.space in November 2025. In 12 weekly live sessions, experts will impart in-depth knowledge on the fundamentals of organic farming. The topics covered will include the legal framework, sustainable soil and nutrient management, innovative approaches such as biodiversity management and agroforestry, and much more. The course offers newcomers to the organic sector an ideal opportunity to consolidate their basic knowledge of organic farming and learn about new perspectives. Registration will be possible soon.

OrganicAdviceNetwork.space is a new resource for European organic farming advisors. Through international exchange and joint training, it advances organic farming in Europe and promotes sustainable agricultural practices.

Register at OrganicAdviceNetwork.space and become part of this inspiring community! If you would like to learn more about the project and the platform, a webinar on 24 April 2025 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. offers the perfect opportunity. You can find the link to register for the webinar below.
