The 19th Organic World Congress of IFOAM - Organics International, which is taking place from 9 - 11 November 2017 in India, has opened its Call for Papers.
Every three years, sector stakeholders come together at the Organic World Congress (OWC), the world’s largest and most significant organic gathering, to discuss and deliberate the issues of the day.
The 19th OWC is structured in four conference tracks: Main Track, Farmers Track, Scientific Track, and Marketing Track.
The Scientific Track is a platform where research results are presented and discussed in 20 sessions of 1.5 hours each. Papers must link to scientific disciplines such as soil, plant, animal, or economics. The Scientific track will be organized jointly by the Indian National Centre of Organic Farming (NCOF), the International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (ISOFAR), and TIPI - the Technology Innovation Platform of IFOAM - Organics International.
TIPI is coordinated by FiBL; the most recent activities include the Science Day at BIOFACH 2016 and the finaliations of TIPI's Global vision and strategy for organic farming research.
Please note that the deadline for submissions is 30 September 2016.
