This year's Agrobiodiversity Summer School will take place in Slovenia from 18 to 28 August 2024, jointly organised by the ZHAW research group Geography of Food, the University of Ljubljana and FiBL Switzerland. The application deadline is 16 February.

Accompanied by local experts, students from all over Europe will discuss the various aspects of agrobiodiversity and resilient food systems. The starting point is concrete examples in various regions of Slovenia. The different scientific and cultural perspectives of the participants are important for examining the topic of agrobiodiversity and food systems.

The Summer School is mainly directed to students enrolled in a Master programme related to agricultural science, environment, food technologies and processing, rural development, sustainability assessment or associated topics. Bachelor students are also invited to apply, but will be given second priority. Students with limited financial resources also have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship. The application deadline is 16 February.

The number of participants is limited to 30. Detailed information is available on the Summer School website (see below).
