To optimize the installation of agroforestry systems of the "orchard with vegetables" type, a preliminary analysis of existing systems will be conducted. The aim is to identify key factors for successful implementation and determine essential research parameters for further study.
Five successful orchard projects will be examined in order to gather the information required for their analysis. This data will then be compared to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of each project (SWOT analysis), and will feed into a technical guide useful for the design and implementation of such systems.
Following this preliminary work, substantial research parameters will emerge, enabling us to set up a long-term monitoring project for these systems.
