Regenerative transition at Mus Alparslan farm in Turkey

Original titleTransition régénérative de la ferme Mus Alparslan en Turquie
Abstract

This project supports a large-scale arable farm in Turkey (Mus Alparslan) in converting to regenerative farming methods. In collaboration with the advisory company "Soil Capital Farming", FiBL is contributing its technical expertise to optimise the use of inputs, reduce tillage and improve crop diversification to promote sustainability.

Based on its extensive knowledge of regenerative agriculture and the unique Mediterranean-continental climate and soil conditions of Eastern Turkey, FiBL will offer customised, turn-key solutions. In the first year, activities will focus on input optimisation trials, cover crop integration and no-till systems to ensure sustainable practices are adapted to the local context. In a later phase, these practices will be expanded to 6000 hectares.
