Corporate Carbon Footprint (GHG-Protocol) of Franz Felber & Co. GmbH

Abstract

For Franz Felber & Co. GmbH, parts of the company are to be analyzed with regard to the greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the "European Sustainability Reporting Standards" (ESRS E1). The company is to be analyzed in terms of its climate impact along the entire value chain (excluding consumption). The aim is to gain a well-founded overview of the greenhouse gas emissions of the entire company, to identify potential hotspots - and thus starting points for improvement measures - and to create the data basis for future sustainability reporting.
The Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard of the GHG Protocol is used to calculate the climate impact.  It is the established methodological basis for measuring the carbon footprint at company level (CCF). All greenhouse gas-relevant production processes are recorded and the greenhouse gas emissions caused for Scope I, 2 and 3 emissions are calculated and presented.
