Climate resiliant grape varieties to secure yield

Original titleVariétés de vigne avec résilience climatique pour la protection du rendement
Abstract

Summer heat and drought stress pose increasing problems for winegrowers, who in many places can no longer manage without artificial irrigation. In order to adapt viticulture to the changed climatic conditions, climate-resiliant grape varieties are to be bred. To achieve this goal, researchers from Germany, France and Switzerland are working together under the leadership of the botanical institute at KIT.
