Abstract

The goal of the project is to inform discussions amongst key stakeholders in RaMHOT value chains on how to strengthen social and environmental sustainability in the various industries. To this end, the study evaluates product and processing standards and promotes certification schemes that are efficient and cost-effective. The findings are meant to inform stakeholders supporting sustainable value chains both at local, national and global levels. Specifically, it focuses on farm income, market access and rural development.
