The project supports Coop in extending the product range of Mediterranean and tropical organic fruits and vegetables. The focus is on a better supply of exotic fruit in organic quality, such as pineapples, mangos, limes and avocados. The project is looking for suitable suppliers and supports them in preparing for Bio Suisse certification and supports Coop creating the supply chain and quality assurance. The project also provides the Coop buyers with expert advice and supports the suppliers with advice on production and certification (in certain cases).
