Global Information System for Organic Market and Production Data II

From 2008 to 2011 data collection activities on organic agriculture worldwide were conducted under a project of the International Trade Centre ITC and the Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs SECO. Following activities were funded:

• Building of a web based data collection tool
• Complete redesign of the homepage “www.organic-world.net” (as a tool for web based data collection as well as to provide statistical material, graphs and backgound information)
• Data collection and processing
• Overview of data availability worldwide
• Dissemination
